About Vanessa.

Vanessa Valenti is CEO and co-founder of FRESH Speakers, a next generation speakers bureau focused on creating more inclusion and equity in thought leadership. She is also the co-founder and former Managing Editor of the renowned, award-winning blog Feministing.com, and co-founder and partner of Valenti Martin Media.

Over the last decade, Vanessa has worked as a leading communications strategist with social change organizations across the globe like the Skoll Foundation, The Clinton Foundation, Pivotal Ventures, Planned Parenthood, The Aspen Institute, TED, UN Women, and many more — inspiring new forms of online movement-building, producing content development and curation, and delivering speaker coaching and storytelling. 

Vanessa has also received multiple awards and acknowledgments for her writing and activism, including the inaugural TED Residency, and the Hillman Prize for Exemplary Reporting that Fosters Social and Economic Justice. 

When she's not working, Vanessa is unplugging her two kids in a little Hudson river town in upstate New York.
